The Bible says that we as Christians will be saved out of the wrath that is to come. This gives us a great hope in a world that is beginning to balance on the edge of “what’s going to happen next?” It’s very easy to get wrapped up in all this, and it’s just as easy to brush it off and go about our normal lives as if nothing is happening. But the good news is that we as Christians never have to live in fear of any of this! Why? Because we have a greater promise. The Bible has told us that we as believers in Jesus Christ, shall be saved out of the wrath that is to come! although this is a dreadful thing for the world, this is our salvation and promise to look forward to. We also know, that this is something that must take place. Why?
You see, sin is death, and all sin is deserving of judgement. It can not exist in the presence of a righteous God. This is why Jesus Christ had to die to justify the guilty and to offer a way to pay back the sin debt we as mankind have been born into. If sin did not have to be judged, Jesus Christ would never have had to die the death that He did for us, He could have just kept on living. But because sin must be punished, Jesus Christ had to die and take the sin penalty and the wrath of a righteous God upon Himself.
In John 3:16 the Bible says that “God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall have Eternal Life”. You see, God loved you and I so much, He didn’t want to see anyone have to suffer the judgement that was coming upon all mankind, so He provided a solution. He sent His only Begotten, Jesus Christ to bear the sin and the wrath of death that we all deserved.
So know as justified believers in Christ, were does that leave us? The Apostle Paul says that we are “children of the light (1 Thess. 5:5)” and that we need not fear this dreadful day. Why? Because we are saved from the wrath to come!

God saved me from a devil’s hell. What more could we ask for?
