There’s a law that says when we give, we receive. This applies for everyone, believer and unbeliever alike, even Jesus understood this law (Luke 6:38 “Give and it shall be given unto you). But I believe there is an even greater law, something which is not really a law unto itself, but rather a simple Truth. This is the simple truth of knowing God and all that comes from that knowing. As we know the Blesser, we have access to the blessings, and we are able to bless others in return. Also, as we seek God, we shall become more like Him. And God is giving in nature. He is the Ultimate Giver. And He will transform our hearts to match His as we actively seek Him.
Because the Almighty is never ending, the blessings we are able to receive from God are in abundance and they are never ending as we are in Him. In Genesis God told Abraham that He would bless Him and that He would make Abraham a blessing unto others. When we are blessed, we are able to bless others. We become the blessing! What we receive from God, we are able to give to others, and we never run out! How? Because we know the Blesser, and His supply is limitless! (God never runs out, He just makes more!) This allows us to give in abundance to others and never run out nor grow tired or weary (He is also our Sustainer!).
So when God says that He will meet our every need, He means it! When it says that He will meet all the needs of others in our lives, He means it too! Remember, God is not limited, but limitless. He is only limited when we limit Him. So have faith in God to bless you and meet the needs of all those around you, because this is what God wants to do! It’s in His nature. And as you become more of a giver, you will become more Christ like and begin to understand His nature! There is so much blessing in giving, and when we give, we truly receive! God Bless!
