When we can believe God like a little child, we shall truly be taken to new heights! Little children have great faith and very little doubt. They lean upon their parents and trust them for all their needs, both emotional and physical.

I believe this is why Jesus said that the kingdom of God ("peace, joy and righteousness in the Spirit of God" Rom. 14:17) is for little children. He said that as we become like little children, we are more able to come into this glorious peace, joy, and righteousness of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 18:3).

When we believe God like a child, we open up the window of opportunity for God through the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Doubt blocks God from working in our lives! Faith gives God an open door to work in our lives. When we believe God, we are saying that we believe Who He is. We are saying that we also believe what He says! We believe that God is bigger than the obstacles in our lives. That He can overcome anything in our paths, because He is greater than all!

When we believe God we say that we trust in Him and that we will rely upon Him for all that we need. We won't rely upon ourselves or on our money or anything else we may have (we may even be putting our trust in man [Micah 7:5]), but that we are trusting fully in Him. This is God's desire for us! He wants to see His children trust in Him and He will prove Himself strong and mighty to all who put their trust in Him! (Psalm 37:5)

Ps. 37:5 "Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it."

Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."

This faith like a child is wonderful, and will open up so many opportunities for God to bless us and to be a big part of our lives! He shall open up the windows of Heaven and pouring out a blessing (Micah 3:10) to all who put their trust and lean upon Him. God bless! Amen.
