The Power of the Holy Spirit

The power of the Holy Spirit is able to deliver us from all sin, all fear, all doubt, all worry, all depression, all anxiety, etc. etc. You must yield to this Spirit and let it fill you with the fulness of all that God is (Eph. 5:18)!

Luke 24:49 "And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

Acts 1:7 "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you"

How long shall we wait for this gift? We shall receive it now! For it has already been purchased with a most precious price, the Blood of our Lord (more precious than silver or gold 1 Pet. 1:18-19).

Acts 2:2-4 "And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

For the Spirit is given without measure to the Sons of God (John 3:34).

Romans 8:15 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father"

Luke 11:13 "How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"

1 John 3:18 "Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth."

How shall we know when we can love perfectly in truth? When the Spirit of Him who is love has filled us to the full. This is a heavenly love, a Divine love that can only come from Him who is love. Him who knew no sin but became sin to redeem those whom He would call His own (2 Cor. 5:21)!

1 John 4:7 "Love is of God"

We know that we are of God because of the love we have for on another. When we are born of God our love should steadily increase day by day. Again, this is the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives as believers. Remember, as we abide in Him, we become more and more like Him, and He is love (1 John 4:8)!

Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to transform you just as it did to the Apostles two thousand years ago. Allow it to transform you into a Spirit filled believer full of the Lord Jesus Christ, His faith and His love! God Bless!
