The Giving Inspiration

When we give, not only do we receive back, back we are also filled with the joy of being able to know God more and more. When we give, we are filled with the joy and the light of God. God is a giver by nature, and He rewards those that give out of a loving heart (He is a Father who rewards good behaviour).

So why do we give? Our motives should not be out of selfishness, but always out of the Divine love of Jesus for one another. This love should be our motivator, our very inspiration. The Apostle Paul said,

“If I have not love, I am nothing”. (1 Cor. 13:2)

Love must be the motivator behind everything that we do. The perfect love of Jesus Christ will strengthen us to give where it is needed the most.

For blessed are the pure in heart, the love makers, for they truly shall see God, (Matt. 5:8) not with their eyes, but with their heart. When this love of Jesus Christ is our motivator and it has transformed our hearts into pure gold, we shall truly see God for who He is. We will know Him, not as we think we know Him, but as He truly is. We will never question Him nor doubt His love for us. For He is love, and He is here to bless us and to show us the world, to lead us along His narrow path. He shall make known to us His ways as we seek His face and rest in Him. Amen.
