In John 10:10, we see that the thief, (that is the adversary, the devil) comes not except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But in the next part of the verse we see that Jesus, the author of our salvation, the very Son of God, has come to give us life, and not only life, but life more abundantly.
You see Jesus comes to give to us a life more abundantly, a life this world can not give. As we look to Him and put our faith in Him, we see our lives transformed to reflect His glory, and to receive all the blessings that he would have us to receive. Remember, Jesus came to give to us, it’s the devil that comes to destroy. Jesus truly is the carpenter, the One who builds our lives so perfectly from the ground up.
