One major aspect of our Christian lives is our prayer for one another. The Bible says that “Christ ever liveth to make intercession for us” (Hebrews 7:25), and as Christ is formed in us, we too will grow more and more to make intercession for those around us.
Prayer is important to God.
James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
1 John 5:16 “If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask (pray), and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death.”
There are many examples that can be found in the Bible, but these are a few. We can also find a great prayer that Daniel makes for his brethren, the nation of Israel in Daniel chapter 9. This gives you a good reference for the prayer for others that comes from the heart and blesses all. God bless.
