The Bible says that “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness” (that is right standing with God). (Romans 4:3) And it was not only credited unto Abraham, but also unto us who would also believe. For God is not a respecter of person, but He looks at the faith of a person’s heart.

Romans 4:23-24 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead.

For this grace we receive from God comes by faith and faith alone.

Eph. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

So let us come to God alone for our righteousness, through our Lord Jesus Christ and enter into His rest from our own works and burdens. God bless. Amen.
