Believing and Receiving

The was an important principle that the Lord Jesus Christ taught in

Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

This means that as we pray in line with God’s will, God would have us to exercise faith, and this faith will lead to the furtherance of our receiving our prayer requests.

If faith energizes our prayers, than doubt and unbelief has the opposite effect. Look at the other part of that verse: and shall not doubt in his heart. This doubt can only be a hindrance to us receiving from the Lord, it is a lack of faith, an unbelieving that God would have us to live without.

So when you pray, believe the Lord, and know that He is able to do the impossible.

Mark 10:27 “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

God bless.

  2. What does it take for our prayers to be answered? It’s our faith! I posted something about this here: http://your-dailyword.blogspot.com/2009/04/prayers-answered-by-god-through-faith.html.

    God Bless you brother!
